The Sister Letters
HELLO, KINGDOM WOMAN THIS is how to walk in your NEW Identity in CHRIST!
To My Sisters
Last week, we explored our relationship with God and His role in our lives as our Father.
Today, I want to tell you about yourself (stay with me) because I have discovered that a lot of women are walking around with
no idea
about what God truly says about them, but rather, are believing the lies of culture, tradition and past traumas.
Many women have had their light dimmed by their environment and are operating at a small percentage of the glory God has put inside of them.
But from today,
that won't be you
.
Let's dive into the second instalment of the Series,
Your Relationship with Yourself
.
It is time that we build our identity around the Truth, which is Christ.
At the end of this letter, I will be giving you
a very practical challenge that will completely transform the woman that you are.
So, for context, one thing you should know about me is that I genuinely believe, with all of my heart, that
the answer to EVERY problem we human beings face, can be found in the Word of God.
These verses confirm that good success is for those who have an intimate relationship with God's Word:
Joshua 1:8
says
"
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success
."
and
Psalm 1:1-2
says
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night."
God has hidden His wisdom for health, wealth, joy, peace, and every spiritual blessing, within the pages of His Word. However, it is for His children to search it out.
Proverbs 25:2
says
“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter."
SIS!Do you know the person you would be a year from now if you committed to knowing the Bible more than whatever it is that is currently consuming your heart?
Let me describe that woman to you:
You would be full of wisdom, making the right decisions and able to advise yourself and your loved ones in the issues of this life
When you speak, people will listen because they can sense that you are wise beyond earthly wisdom due to how much time you spend in the Word
You would be discerning, able to identity the voice that speaks by the spirit of God from the voice that speaks by this world, because your ears would be so sensitive to how God speaks due to the time you spend in His Word.
You would speak with authority and kindness because you would not be phased by the opinions of mere men, as your confidence and boldness comes from the Lord whom you have come to trust with all your heart because you have seen His faithfulness in His Word and in your life
Your appetite for the things of this world will disappear because you realise how sweet like honey it is to walk in the ways of the Lord
Nations will rise up to call you blessed and favour will pursue you because there are few women who are like this, she is truly a rare women worthy of the highest praise.
THIS
is a Kingdom woman.
As a daughter of God,
THIS
is who you are called to be,
THIS
is your true identity in Christ.
But right now, you may not see yourself as this woman because you have assumed an identity from somewhere else, outside of the Word of God.
Romans 12:2
gives us the solution to this problem:
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
As we behold the glory of the Lord through the Word of God, our mind is being renewed away from the low ways of this world and we are being transformed into the same image of glory in Christ Jesus.
People will look upon us and see the radiance of God all over our lives.
2 Corinthians 3:18
says
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."
The more we study His Word, the more our
caterpillar to butterfly
transformation occurs, and our faith increases to believe everything He says about us. As it says in
Romans 10:17
"faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."
So as we keep hearing and hearing, we will see our faith in God increase, and our appetite for this world decrease.
This transformation is a long term commitment, but
it is the difference between the women who fulfil their highest calling and the women who don't.
Even if you never decide to study the Word of God intimately,
God will still love you as His child.
You are already His daughter as a believer in Christ. However, you will be choosing to not walk in the fullness of your identity in Christ, but rather, accepting to continue to live with whatever false identity you have collected from the world, and never discovering the "good success" the Bible speaks about in the verses above.
But that won't be us!
So where do you start in your journey to knowing the Word intimately?
I've got you.
For this week's challenge, I encourage you to
1)
understand the BIG picture of the Word of God
; and then
2)
choose a Bible plan that will allow you to read through the entire Bible
at your own pace.
THE BIG PICTURE
: If you are wondering how to understand the big picture, I have a reel on this on my page @creatortochi. You can also message me if you would like me to send you some really great videos to watch that will help with this.
THE BIBLE PLAN
: Your Bible Plan can be a 6 month plan, or a 1 year plan, whatever is manageable to you. But remember that we are prioritising the Word, so making time for this is essential.
At first you will not understand much of what you are reading, but the more you read it will become more and more addictive and your desire for the wisdom of God will increase.
You will literally see your heart transforming
under the power of the Words of our Heavenly Father.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank you for giving us the revelation of the importance of Your Word. I pray that the desire to sit in Your Word becomes our greatest desire and that we will be continually transformed from glory to glory into the women You have called us to be. In Jesus Name, Amen <3
