You are being blessed to be a blessing

Hi Woman of God

and HELLO August!

Sis, I am so expectant for the breakthroughs and the growth that is coming our way this month.

I am big on asking God to bless me and the work of my hands.

I am unapologetic about the fact that I want God to use me and that I will not limit Him by small thinking or thinking little of myself.

I will welcome His blessings into my life because I understand the mindset that I am going to share with you today.

Without this mindset, many Christians are leaving their blessings on the table due to a false sense of humility or a fear of being blessed.

However, as we start this new month I want to remind you of a very important principle and mindset shift that should be at the forefront of your heart now more than ever.

The mindset shift is summarised in seven words:

you are blessed to be a blessing.

This truth is deeply rooted in scripture and will transform the way we approach our lives and interactions with others.

In Genesis 12:2, God tells Abraham, "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing." This promise to Abraham is a reminder that our blessings are not meant for us alone. They are given so that we might extend God's love, grace, and generosity to others.

When we recognise that every gift, talent, and resource we have is an opportunity to bless those around us, it changes our perspective. Instead of focusing on what we can gain, we begin to ask how we can give. How can we use our time, abilities, and possessions to make a positive impact?

As we embrace this mindset of being blessed to be a blessing let's trust in God's promise that we will reap a bountiful harvest. Let’s be expectant that He will bless us as His word says. Let’s not shy away from His blessings over our lives. And lastly let's make this month a time of blessing others, knowing that in due season, we will also enjoy the fruits of our labor of love.

Even now, challenge yourself that throughout this month you will look for opportunities to be a blessing to those around you, knowing that this is the culture of Heaven and your Heavenly Father sees the way you care for others.

May God continue to bless you abundantly, and may you find joy in blessing others.
