Unlocking Your God-given Femininity

In a world that often distorts what it means to be feminine or masculine, it's important to rediscover God's design for godly femininity and what it truly means to be a woman. Contrary to popular belief, femininity and masculinity aren’t exclusively tied to being male or female. While men should naturally embody more masculinity and women more femininity, God has placed both traits in all of us because both serve a purpose for our survival.

As women, however, we are called to rest in our feminine nature and doing so best demonstrates God’s design for the woman - to reflect a gentle spirit, a nurturing wisdom, and a graceful strength. Godly femininity is about reflecting God’s design for femininity - one of beauty, wisdom, influence and grace. It’s not about manipulation or seduction, which are characteristics of the dark femininity that has gone viral all over social media. Dark femininity focuses on self-interest, using allure and control for personal gain, while godly femininity is rooted in an abundant trust in God’s provision and protection, a secure identity and worth as a deeply treasured daughter of God, and a commitment to the service of love unto others for God's glory.

Here are just a few things feminine women of God do:

• Seek God's Will: They prioritise their relationship with God and seek His guidance in every area of their lives.

• Embody Grace and A Nurturing Spirit: They show kindness and care to those around them, fostering peace and growth.

• Honour Their Worth: They know their value in Christ and set healthy boundaries, not settling for less than what aligns with God's plan for them.

• Receive with Humility: Whether it’s love, help, or blessings, they accept care from others with gratitude and grace.
