How to move from doubting God to trusting Him
Hi Woman of God
I want to share with you a powerful mindset shift that I shared this with the ladies inside the KWA community during our morning prayer call today. This shift is about moving from doubting God to a deep trust in God’s plan.
Quite naturally, we all face moments when doubt creeps in. In these times we may question whether God truly has a plan for us or if He’s even listening to our prayers. It’s natural to wonder why certain things happen or why answers seem delayed. But, as daughters of the King, we are called to rise above these doubts and anchor our hearts in trust.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
This scripture invites us to place our complete trust in God, even when we don’t fully understand His ways. It’s about being obedient to God’s leadings and instructions, as well as choosing to rest in the knowledge that God is sovereign and His plan is always for our good.
How can we destroy doubt and build our mindset of trust?
Acknowledge Your Doubts: It’s okay to admit when you’re struggling with doubt. Bring those concerns before God in prayer, asking Him to strengthen your faith.
Remember God’s Promises: The Bible is full of promises that God has made to His people. Meditate on these promises daily, reminding yourself that God is faithful to fulfill them.
Practice Gratitude: Shift your focus from what you don’t understand to what you are grateful for. Gratitude helps us see God’s hand in every situation, even the challenging ones.
Surround Yourself with Faith Builders: Engage with media, worship, and community that encourage trust in God. Listening to testimonies and stories of God’s faithfulness in others’ lives can renew your trust in His plan for you.
Take Steps of Faith: Put everything into practice, or as the Bible says “taste and see that the Lord is good". As you sense God’s leading, exercise faith, one step at a time, even when you can’t see the entire path, and God will show you how trustworthy He truly is.
As we transition from doubt to trust, we align our hearts with the truth that God is in control, and He is good. His plans for us are filled with hope, purpose, and divine love. When we trust Him fully, we experience the peace and confidence that comes from knowing that our lives are in His hands.
Let’s commit together to letting go of doubt and embracing a life of trust in our loving Father. He knows the plans He has for us, and they are plans to prosper us and give us a future filled with His goodness (Jeremiah 29:11).
Talk tomorrow sis.
With my love
