God is transforming you into the image of Christ

this is the REAL glow up

You are being transformed into the image of Christ

Hi Woman of God

I want to share some thoughts on a crucial mindset shift that can deeply impact our spiritual journey: recognising and embracing that we are continuously being transformed into the image of Christ.

As Christians, the Bible reminds us that God does not leave us the way He finds us. We are constantly transforming and growing as we continue to walk with Him. If you think about how far God has brought you and the woman you are today compared to your past, you will identify areas of growth.

Similarly, where God desires to take you if you let Him, in just 6 months from now, you can look back and be amazed at your growth.

We see from Scripture that God is in the business of transformation and this process of transformation is ongoing and purposeful, aimed at making us more like Jesus. God is always working on us and always looking to transform our lives for the better. Understanding and embracing this truth can bring us encouragement and motivation in our daily walk with God.

Here are some key verses and reflections to help us fully receive this mindset shift:

  1. 2 Corinthians 3:18: "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

    • This verse reminds us that our transformation is a continuous process, guided by the Holy Spirit, bringing us closer to the image of Christ with each step.

  2. Romans 12:2: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."

    • Paul emphasizes the importance of renewing our minds, allowing God’s Word to shape our thoughts and actions, leading to transformation in alignment with His will.

  3. Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

    • This verse reassures us that God is faithful to complete the work He has started in us, encouraging us to trust in His ongoing transformation.

  4. Colossians 3:10: "And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."

    • As we grow in our knowledge of God, we are continuously being renewed and transformed to reflect His image more accurately.

By embracing this mindset shift, we recognise that God is always working on our character, our heart and our mind. Each challenge, trial, and victory contributes to our growth, molding us into Christ's likeness. This perspective can bring hope and purpose, even in difficult times, knowing that God is at work in us.
