The Proverbs Challenge - Day 31
THE FINAL DAY of the Challenge and of 2024 (a must read!)
Hi Woman of God
Happy New Year’s Eve! Can you believe 2025 is just hours away? As we stand on the brink of a new year, there’s no better time to reflect on the woman God has called you to be. Proverbs 31 offers us a clear picture of this woman and we will dive into it.
As we’ve explored Proverbs daily in this past month, I hope it has been as transformative for you as it has been for me. Each chapter has been a step toward understanding God’s wisdom and aligning our lives with His Word. As we enter 2025, let’s take these lessons to heart, becoming women who not only live in His wisdom but also inspire others to do the same.
Now, let’s jump into today’s SOAP on Proverbs 31, the final chapter of our journey!
SCRIPTURE
Proverbs Chapter 31 (the chapter as a whole)
OBSERVATION
This chapter beautifully outlines the characteristics of a virtuous woman and the wisdom passed from a mother to her son, King Lemuel. The chapter has two distinct sections:
Verses 1–9: A mother’s advice to her son on being a wise and just ruler. She cautions against indulgence in excessive pleasures like alcohol and warns him about the impact of poor decision-making on his ability to lead. Instead, she encourages him to use his position to advocate for the voiceless and to judge righteously.
Verses 10–31: The qualities of a virtuous woman are detailed. This woman is strong, industrious, compassionate, and wise. She manages her household with diligence, works hard, cares for the needy, speaks with wisdom, and earns the trust and praise of her husband and children.
I did a whole breakdown of the qualities of a proverbs 31 woman earlier this year as part of the first proverbs challenge. You can read it by clicking HERE.

APPLICATION
As I enter 2025, I commit to growing in wisdom through daily study of God’s Word, using it as my guide to becoming a Proverbs 31 woman - a woman who fears the Lord. My focus will be on consistently growing in my own life while helping other women grow in their faith and discover the woman God has called them to be within my communities.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this Proverbs challenge. This journey through Your Word has been a gift, and I am grateful for all You’ve revealed about the wisdom and character You desire for us. As we step into 2025, help us to continue growing in Your Word daily. I ask for Your grace to become the Proverbs 31 woman You’ve called me to be, and I pray for every woman here to embody the same diligence, compassion, and wisdom. May we all be lights in our families, communities, workplaces and beyond, bringing glory to Your name.
Thank You for this year, Lord, and for the year ahead. Be with us every step of the way. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen 🩷
And that’s a wrap sis! ✨
Stay tuned for more updates on when our next challenge will be. I think we deserve a little break for now, but we will be back with more challenges and Bible studies in 2025!
Speak soon and see you in 2025 🎉
With my love
